Join a Cambridge Alumni Society

Want to stay in touch with Cambridge after graduation? There are several active alumni societies across Australia and New Zealand who host networking events, speaker events, and gala dinners. See below for the groups we are currently in touch with, and keep an eye out for more groups to be added this year.

VICTORIA

We have a vibrant alumni group here in Melbourne and the best place for our news and events is our LinkedIn group.

We run a Boat Race Dinner, monthly guest speaker lunches, an Annual Dinner, and have a variety of other events throughout the year. We often team up with Oxford, the London unis, and the Ivies for events too.

We aren't just for local alumni, we are happy to have prospective and visiting students as well as visiting alumni come to our events. We are also keen to try connect returning students with alumni who may be in a similar field. To learn more, please email:

NEW SOUTH WALES

The Cambridge Alumni Group of NSW is a vibrant and growing community of approximately 200 alumni, representing a fascinating and diverse cross-section of academic disciplines, careers, interests, and student generations. We host around a dozen events annually, ranging from casual activities like barefoot bowls and pub quizzes to formal gatherings such as our Winter Feast featuring high-profile speakers.

Whether you're returning from Cambridge or looking to reconnect, reach out to see how we can help you engage with our NSW community!

Our policy waives membership fees for current and recent University members. To learn more, please email Suzie:

AUSTRALIAN CAPITAL TERRITORY

The Cambridge Society of the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) holds a range of interesting and convivial events each year, many held in association with our colleagues in the Oxford Society of the ACT, and often featuring guest speakers with a close association to Cambridge. In recent years, these events have included an annual Oxbridge garden party, held in my garden in the autumn.

We currently have 108 alumni in the group and are always keen to add more members. Our members cover a wide age range, from those who have just completed their degree at Cambridge, to those who graduated many years ago.
